Procedure

Have you ever wanted a fresh and tasty dish to share with your friends during a summer lunch? Rolls stuffed with bread, zucchini, smoked salmon, and cream cheese could be the perfect solution. Let's look at the process together. Start by taking three slices of bread and overlapping them along the long side by about 1 cm, creating a solid base for your rolls. Now use a rolling pin to seal the slices of bread together, creating a compact and sturdy rectangle. Using a spatula, spread half of the cheese evenly over the surface of the bread. Make sure to distribute it evenly, so that every bite of the rolls is enriched with a creamy and flavorful note. At this point, you can stuff the bread with sautéed zucchini, arugula, or alternatively thin slices of avocado. Choose the ingredients you prefer or have on hand to create a contrast of fresh and tasty flavors inside the rolls. The zucchini will add a touch of crunch, while the arugula or avocado will make the dish even more inviting. For an explosion of flavor, delicately place slices of smoked salmon on top. The smoked salmon will add a rich, intense note, completing the harmony of flavors. Now, carefully roll the bread up starting from the long side. The goal is to obtain a compact roll. To prevent the rolls from unraveling, wrap the roll in cling film, making sure to tighten it well so it holds its shape. Refrigerate the roll for at least 30 minutes to allow the rolls to take shape and become easier to cut. After this time, remove the plastic wrap from the roll and spread the remaining cheese over the surface, generously sprinkling with chopped pistachios. The chopped pistachios will add a pleasant crunch and a touch of extra flavor. To ensure the chopped pistachios adhere well to the cheese, gently rotate the roll using the plastic wrap as a guide. This will help the chopped pistachios spread evenly on all sides, creating a crispy and inviting coating. Once this step is complete, wrap the roll in plastic wrap again, tightening it well to maintain its shape. Refrigerate the roll for another 30 minutes to firm it up further and allow the flavors to blend perfectly. When it's time to serve your stuffed rolls, place the roll on a cutting board and use a serrated knife to cut slices about 1.5 cm thick. This will create beautiful, compact rolls, ready for your guests to enjoy. Plate the stuffed rolls on a nice plate and serve them fresh. Prepare this delicious recipe and share your fresh lunch with your friends, enjoying a moment of culinary pleasure together. (Recipe created in collaboration with Laura “ladfoodie”) Video recipe.
